The GTA 6 trailer is finally out

After Trailer 1 in December 2023 and Trailer 2 in May 2025, Rockstar Games has released its third major showcase: Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. The GTA 6 trailer premiered on Netflix on August 27, 2026, then went live for free on YouTube the same day — and you can watch it right here.

Unlike the earlier cinematic trailers, this is a 26-minute gameplay presentation captured on PlayStation 5. It is the deepest official look yet at dual protagonists Jason and Lucia, the state of Leonida, and the streets of Vice Beach before launch on November 19, 2026.

What is the GTA 6 Extended Look?

An Extended Look is not a 90-second teaser. It is a long-form gameplay trailer — the first time Rockstar has shown GTA VI running in-engine at this length. Coverage ahead of release described footage captured on PS5, covering Vice Beach nightlife, Leonida highways, and the partnership between Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.

Use it as a spoiler-aware briefing before launch: note districts you want to explore, vehicles that stand out, and story beats you may want to avoid until November. Then cross-check locations in our Leonida map, character pages, and missions hub as the community fills in details from the showcase.

    Trailer 1 — The reveal

    December 2023. Rockstar’s first look at GTA VI introduced Lucia, Jason and a neon-soaked return to Vice City energy inside the new state of Leonida. It remains one of the most-watched game trailers ever.

    Trailer 2 — Story & world

    May 2025. A longer cinematic follow-up that expanded the duo’s relationship, Vice Beach street life and the tone of the single-player campaign — still carrying the original 2025 window before the move to November 19, 2026.

  3. 2026

    Extended Look — Gameplay (this trailer)

    August 27, 2026. The third major drop: ~26 minutes of in-game footage. This is the GTA 6 trailer everyone was waiting for after pre-orders opened — watch it on YouTube or in the player above.
