On October 15, 2026, 35 days before launch, Rockstar Games released a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI without advance notice. Press outlets call it the Launch Trailer.

Release

  • Shadow-dropped on October 15, 2026, about five weeks before the November 19 launch.
  • Runs roughly 90 seconds, according to press coverage.
  • Reported as captured in-game on PlayStation 5. Coverage noted PlayStation branding and that Xbox branding was absent.
  • Confirms platforms and date: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, November 19, 2026.

What it shows

The trailer leans on the two leads, Jason and Lucia, with more story-driven footage than earlier showcases and extended looks at Vice City. GameSpot highlighted a romantic scene between the pair. For deeper breakdowns of earlier footage see Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and An Extended Look.

Is it Trailer 3?

Many outlets label it “Trailer 3”, but Rockstar's own trailer page does not number it. We use “Launch Trailer” to match the official title.

Watch

The trailer is on Rockstar's official YouTube channel and website. As of late October, no further trailer has been announced.
