Rockstar's marketing for Grand Theft Auto VI has moved into the real world. Press and fan posts from mid-to-late October describe a Miami takeover themed around Leonida and Vice City.
The food stands
Two concession stands inside the Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat, have been rebranded as Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell, the fast-food chains from the GTA series. Footage shows the Burger Shot stand is a re-skin of an existing arena outlet, with themed signage, packaging and staff uniforms.
Other stunts
- A large mural for Macca & Friends, featuring Macca, an animated alligator character from the game.
- A Vice City blimp over Miami.
- Real-world versions of GTA 6 cars on Miami streets.
- A Miami Heat crossover, with GTA-themed ads around the arena.
Why Miami
Miami is the real-world city that inspires Vice City and the state of Leonida, so it is a natural stage for the campaign. See our Vice City and Leonida guides.
Rockstar has not published a full list of its real-world activations. Details here come from press and fan reports and may change.
