GTA 6 Trailer 2 arrived on May 6, 2025, four days after Rockstar postponed launch from Fall 2025 to May 26, 2026. The Rockstar site’s GTA VI section was fully refreshed the same week.
Context
Where Trailer 1 was a mood piece, Trailer 2 leaned into the couple’s relationship, Vice Beach street life and campaign tone. It still carried the old 2025-era dating in some early cuts before the May 2026 (later November 2026) calendar took over.

Across platforms the trailer passed 475 million views in 24 hours; YouTube alone did about 84 million on day one — another franchise high-water mark.
Music
The needle-drop “Hot Together” by The Pointer Sisters saw a reported 182,000% Spotify spike after debut. (A separate 2024 rumour that Anita Ward’s “Ring My Bell” would score Trailer 2 — after a Spotify canvas glitch with the VI logo — was denied by her management.)
